Nominate an NOCE instructor for Teacher of the Year!

2023 Orange County Teacher of the Year Nominations Are Open!

Students are invited to nominate NOCE Faculty Members for 2023 Orange County Teacher of the Year.

Nominations are now open for students to honor their most influential NOCE instructor(s) for the 2023 Orange County Teacher of the Year. The Orange County Teacher of the Year program provides recognition for outstanding teachers in Orange County. Each K-12 school district may nominate one to three teachers (depending on district size) while each community college may nominate one teacher per accredited college.

NOCE students are invited to fill out the Orange County Teacher of the Year nomination form to share how their teacher has made a positive impact on their lives. The Office of Institutional Research will tabulate the results and the most nominated instructor will be moved forward as the NOCE nominee to be honored at the annual recognition banquet hosted by the Orange County Department of Education and the premier sponsor, SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union.

The top five nominees will then go on to compete for California Teacher of the Year!

The nomination process is simple and requires that students fill out the nomination form by February 17, 2022, at 5 p.m. Faculty members who have been selected in the past are not eligible for nomination.
