Purpose: The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Antiracism (DEIA) Committee at NOCE will set the foundation and accountability framework for the integration of diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracism into all aspects of NOCE’s institutional culture. The NOCE DEIA Committee is responsible for championing continuing progress of NOCE DEIA initiatives with the goal of transforming NOCE into an equity-minded institution, recognizing that truly effective equity and diversity work is never finished. The Committee will ensure that equity, diversity, and antiracist actions are closely aligned with, embedded, and implemented in the NOCE Strategic Plan.

Current topics: Promote and Support future heritage months – involve students, faculty, and staff to increase cultural knowledge, awareness, value, and empathy. Applying a Diversity lens in hiring practices.
