The Academic Senate meets to recommend academic and professional matters. It serves as the official faculty representative in policy development for the NOCCCD Board and Chancellor.
The Anaheim Campus Safety Committee aims to enhance employee safety by promoting a secure working environment, reviewing safety issues, and recommending preventive measures.
The Budget Committee meeting aims to review and prioritize unbudgeted expenditure requests and staffing needs for management and classified positions.
The Curriculum Committee meeting aims to review and approve new and revised courses and programs, offering feedback to originators for clarity and quality.
The DE Committee will recommend distance education matters to the Academic Senate based on its guiding documents and approved bylaws, which follow the Senate’s bylaws.
The NOCE Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Antiracism (DEIA) Committee aims to integrate DEIA principles into the institution’s culture. It is responsible for promoting ongoing DEIA initiatives to transform NOCE into an equity-minded institution, recognizing that such efforts are continuous. The Committee ensures that these actions align with and are implemented in the NOCE Strategic Plan.
The Institutional Effectiveness Committee (IEC) aims to review and develop policies on institutional effectiveness, data, research, evaluation, program review, and noncredit metrics/KPIs.
The President’s Cabinet meeting aims to facilitate long-term planning and growth, foster innovation, and promote collaborative problem-solving among NOCE’s leadership.
The NOCE Professional Development Committee (ProD) governs professional development activities at the school and approves funding requests for Classified employees and faculty. Current focuses include enhancing Classified professional development, supporting DEIAA efforts, and facilitating activities on the SLO cycle, such as writing and assessing SLOs.
The SEA Program Committee aims to review, discuss, plan, and implement strategies that enhance student success and equity.
The Technology Committee meeting aims to plan, coordinate, and prioritize school-wide technologies.
