A Step-By-Step Guide
You must renew accommodation letters each academic year, and letters are ONLY available for registered NOCE classes. To update or to make changes to your letters , schedule an appointment with a DSS Counselor by calling (714) 808-4719 or email at disabilitysupport@noce.edu.
Step 1: Go to DSS Portal Login and click on “DSS Student Portal”

Step 2: Choose “Request Accommodation Letters” for NOCE Courses ONLY

Step 3: Click on the “Accommodations” tab

Step 4: Log into your MyGateway account
Log into MyGateway using your personal MyGateway ID (same as Banner ID) and password.

Forget MyGateway ID? Click the “Forgot Username” link below the Username and Password fields.

Forgot password? Click the “Forgot Password?” link on the screen’s right side below Technical Support.

Step 5: Click “Request” next to the class you need accommodations for
Step 6: Select Requested Accommodation(s) from provided list
Make sure you choose specific accommodations for exams and/or in class. Any changes require an appointment with a DSS Counselor. Contact the DSS Main Office at (714) 808-4719 to schedule a counseling appointment.

Step 7: Click on the circular button to approve accommodations
This step will approve your accommodations and immediately send them to your class instructor for review.

Step 8: Click on the “Checkbox” to agree with the terms

Step 9: Choose Submit
Choosing the “Submit” button will give you immediate access to your accommodation letter, and your instructor will receive a copy for review and confirmation.
At the beginning of each NOCE course, you are strongly encouraged to communicate directly with your instructors about classroom or exam accommodations.
