Services We Offer:
The Student Technology Support Services program provides technical support to NOCE students such as:
myGateway & Canvas Login Help – assistance signing in, resetting or creating a new password.
Student Email Support – how to access your NOCE email and Microsoft applications (Office 365, My Apps portal).
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) – help with one-time passwords (OTP), and two-factor authentication for myGateway and Microsoft accounts.
Campus WiFi Connection – guidance on connecting your device to campus WiFi.
Laptop & Hotspot Loan Program – borrow a laptop or hotspot for your classes, including:
- Laptop distribution & collection
- Hotspot (MiFi) distribution & collection
- Help with loaned device issues – basic troubleshooting or replacement if needed
- Tips for using your loaned laptop (shortcuts, navigation, setup help)

Need a laptop or hotspot? We can help!
Requirements:
- Enrollment in at least one online or hybrid course
- A Student Educational Plan (SEP) issued within the past year. To create or update your SEP, call (714) 808-4682 or email counseling@noce.edu
NOTE: Laptops and hotspots are unavailable for students taking in-person classes only. In-person only students can use our labs: Career Skills and Resource Lab, Learning Center, or ESL Student Support Center.
How to Request a Laptop:
1.) Make a Reservation
- Visit: noce.edu/laptop to access the Laptop Loan Reservation Form via MyGateway.
- Complete the Laptop Loan Reservation Form at least 1 day before you want to pick up your laptop.
- On the form, you’ll select a pick-up day. The form will show you the hours and locations available at our three centers.
- Need help logging in to MyGateway? Our STSS team can assist you, or you can contact StarHelp at (714) 808-4679 or starhelp@noce.edu.
2.) Pick-Up Your Laptop
Bring the following items when you arrive:
- Your confirmation number (from the reservation email)
- Your student ID card or most recent Class Schedule with your name and ID number
- Your most recent Student Educational Plan (SEP). To create or update your SEP, call (714) 808-4682 or email counseling@noce.edu
How to Request a Hotspot:
Hotspots are available upon request for eligible students, subject to availability. To request a hotspot, call us at (714) 808-4706, email StudentTechSupport@noce.edu, or visit us in person during our available hours.
