    What is CalFresh?

    CalFresh is California’s nutrition benefit program that can help you stay focused where it counts — school. If you’re a student accessing your school’s food pantry, this won’t affect your eligibility for CalFresh.

    Did you know?

    You can receive up to $250 every month to buy food.

    How can I apply?

    The County of Orange Social Services Agency will be on campus to assist you with applying for CalFresh and other public benefits services.

    Not sure if you qualify?

    Whether you live on your own or with roommates, you might qualify. Stretch your budget and food dollars by enrolling in CalFresh.

    OneCare (HMO SNP) A Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan for low-income seniors and people with disabilities who qualify for both Medicare and Medi-Cal. Benefits are covered in one single plan, making it easier to get health care.

    Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) A community-based Medicare and Medi-Cal program that provides coordinated and integrated health care services to frail elders to help them continue living independently in the community.     Want to check out a laptop? Our Student Technology Support Services can help you.

    Reservations are required and must be made one day prior at noce.edu/laptop

    When you pick up your laptops, students should: Bring the confirmation number listed in the reservation e-mail.

  • Legal Aid

    2022/23 Legal aid clinic flyerThanks to NOCE’s partnership with the US Immigration Law Group, we will be offering free legal clinic appointments to students. The appointments will be 30 minutes and students will meet with the lawyers remotely (by phone). In addition to the US Immigration Law Group, students also have access to CHIRLA legal services.

    30-minute phone appointments are available for NOCE students.

    Appointments will be held on the second and fourth Wednesday and Thursday of each month. To book an appointment, contact: Monica Revelo-Torres at 714.808.4685 or mtorres@noce.edu.

  • Project Food Box

    Project Food Box Logo

    Project FoodBox sources, packages, and distributes boxes of fresh produce directly from farmers to communities in need.

    We deliver these nutritious and healthy foods through mission-aligned partners, including food banks, faith-based organizations, and most recently- health networks! Project Food Box was born out of our participation in the USDA’s “Farmers to Families” program which launched in 2020 to offset food insecurity caused by the pandemic. Our mission is to enhance this successful program and continue building an equitable food system for our most vulnerable populations.
