NOCE will participate in spring emergency preparedness drills focusing on active shooter response
Drills will be slightly different at each NOCE Center:
- NOCE/NOCCCD Anaheim Campus – will host drills on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at both 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
- NOCE Wilshire/Fullerton College – will host a morning drill on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 10 a.m.
- NOCE Cypress/Cypress College – will host a morning drill on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 10:15 a.m.
*Each drill should last about 10 minutes
The drills will prepare our campus communities for readiness and response to such an event. The drill will include emergency protocols, such as lockdown and shelter-in-place, watching a video, discussing with class or office colleagues, and testing emergency communications.
Emergency Notifications at North Orange Continuing Education
Faculty, staff, and students will receive notifications from North Orange Continuing Education during emergencies and during emergency drills. The campus safety alert system uses the phone and e-mail addresses entered in Banner or MyGateway. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to use MyGateway to update their personal information for emergency notifications.
