Center for Applied Competitive Technologies
North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE) hosts the Center for Applied Competitive Technologies (CACT) and the Doing What Matters Deputy Sector Navigator (DSN) Advanced Manufacturing Orange County.
CACT provides a wide range of performance consulting, training solutions, workforce development and job placement in advanced manufacturing and emerging technologies. CACT services include development of customized training curriculum, contract education, customized classes in environmental technologies, and apprenticeship assessments in an effort to support and further the economic development and growth of the Orange County region. DSN provides technical assistance and training to the manufacturing industry, education, government agencies, trade associations, and labor. Through partnerships, DSN provides high school and community college faculty with training in product design and robotics, and supports the annual Product Design Orange County Maker Challenge and the annual VEX Robotics Scrimmage.
