What to do if you test positive for COVID-19

Students: what to do if you test positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days. Follow the four steps below:

  • 1) DO NOT COME TO CAMPUS
    • Notify Campus Safety of your positive case of COVID-19 by calling 714.808.4911. Campus Safety will connect you with the manager of record and/or the Vice President of Student Services to discuss your next steps.
    • Next, contact your instructor to inform them of your positive case of COVID-19 and to
      make arrangements for class assignments.
  • 2) SELF-QUARANTINE
    • You must self-quarantine for 14 days and may not come to campus during this time.
  • 3) COMPLETE THE QUESTIONNAIRE
    • A manager from your NOCE program will contact you to ask you to complete a confidential questionnaire. This questionnaire will help trace potential additional on-campus exposures. Exposure is defined as having close contact with an individual with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 (someone who was within 6 feet of an infected person
      for at least 15 minutes).
  • 4) SHOW PROOF OF NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST

Before returning to campus, you must show evidence of a negative COVID-19 test.
