NOCE Celebrates Latino/Latina Heritage Month

In honor of Latino/Latina Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15), students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend an event with Chicano Studies Professor, Jose Zamora. The event will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Anaheim Campus in Board Room 101. The event will be a presentation about the history, culture, and future of Latinx peoples in the U.S. A reception and refreshments will follow the presentation by Jose Zamora in room 105/107 of the Anaheim Campus. This Latino/Latina Heritage Month event is co-sponsored by the NOCCCD Office of Diversity & Compliance.

In addition to the presentation on September 26, the Latina Faculty & Staff Association will be hosting free movie nights in honor of Latino/Latina Heritage Month. The movie nights will be held at the Anaheim Campus in rooms 105/107. Attendees will receive free popcorn and beverages. A Q&A session will take place following the movie.
