Provost Purtell Invites Students to Participate in Undocumented Week of Action - October 14-18, 2019
This is also an opportunity for our institution to reaffirm its commitment to supporting all students who choose to enroll in NOCE programs and services by creating a welcoming environment and offering specifically designed services to help them thrive. Earlier this year, NOCE launched the Grads to Be initiative to help with understanding the requirements and obtaining the eligibility for non-resident tuition status when enrolling in a credit program. Grads to Be is linked to many community resources and a student mentorship program. Additionally, NOCE offers tuition-free English, English Language Civics, and Citizenship Preparation classes.
Every day of this week, NOCE Grads to Be will host activities in the morning and evening. The goal is to empower and educate through advocacy and resource provision. For more information about the specific events, click on the flier here.
