Learn More Today: ESL Academic Success Program

The ESL Academic Success Program offers classes to ESL students to prepare for transitioning to college. ESL Academic Success Program classes allow students to acquire reading and writing skills for academic success in higher level academic ESL courses, college, high school, GED, or career technical education programs. Students participate in a variety of writing and reading activities on high-interest academic topics. Skills covered include reading for main ideas/details, sentence patterns and the writing process.

The ESL Program will be offering several ESL Academic Success Program classes this upcoming Fall 2020 Semester. To view classes, visit: www.noce.edu/schedule.


The ESL Program will also be offering ESLA 805: Drama in Communication in the Fall Semester. This course is offered to intermediate high and advanced level ESL students. This class will be held on Zoom on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.
